Mono-crystalline wafer: The excellent performance of these cells comes from the unique cleaning and texturing process, advanced PECVD film coating technology and silver silver-aluminium electrode design. This gives zero defects of cell appearance and stable conversion efficiency.

This is a 10Amp multifunction controller. It has a 4 stage battery charger with an LED display. The extra stage in this controller is a short duration elevated voltage that “equalises” batteries. For recreational applications this can be very important as batteries can be left idle in a low capacity state which can impact storage capacity. There is overload protection. Charging Modes: Bulk, Absorbtion, Float/Equalisation

This is a 10 Amp Maximum Power Point Tracking controller. This feature takes the maximum power point and extracts virtually all the available power from the solar panels. Typically output is from 110% to 130% of standard controllers. It has a 3 stage battery charger with an LED display. Charging Modes: Bulk, Absorbtion, Float

Aluminium Frame: The durability of solar suitcases relies as much on the frame design than the strength of the glass. These frames are specially chosen to have a low profile but a high resistance to bending. Most Solar Panels fail when the panel twists and the glass cracks. We have optimised the size and weight to have multiple panels hinged together rather than one large panel.

Carry Bag and Security Wire: Solar Panels with Aluminium edges with sharp corners can do damage to the interior of a vehicle. That is why we have designed large double skinned soft vinyl carry bags. On the side closest to the bag with the glass skin, there is effectively a dual layer of double sided vinyl. In addition is 6m of security wire which can be secured to the vehicle. A lock is not included. This means that theft involves “cutting” which is covered by some insurance policies.
