Diesel Hot Water Suitcase with Visi-flow
Technical Guidance - Hot Water Systems

After 4 years of Experience with Diesel Hotwater in our off road Caravans and more recently Camper Trailers, we have learnt what works well with Hot Water when camping.
Namely:
- The size of the water tank becomes a key factor so you HAVE to be able to pump from a stream or billabong
- It has to operate without a generator (noisy, and a very heavy package to carry)
- It is preferable to NOT have LPG for safety and expense.
- You have to be able to flush the system out after using bore water oir other "less than perfect" water.
We have developed our own Diesel Hot Water Suitcase using Webasto technology with special heat exchangers and pumps. We have a patent on the "Visi-flow" system that gives the option of pumping from a stream or billabong.
The Suitcase will:
- Uses 12V power (battery not included) with very low current draw after startup.
- Has its own diesel fuel tank inside that will generally last for around 30 days before refilling with typical use.
- Is vitually instantaneous with 50 degrees C temperature in about 4-5minutes
