There are 2 major advantages with using Anderson Plugs as a common 12V connection system. 1. Each Plug is a common "male" and "female" so there is only 1 plug type in the system compared to the male and female plugs and outlets of other 12 volt connectors 2. The plug "self cleans" on each use. In the thousands of Anderson Plugs used by Kimberley , we have not experienced a failure. However, until the eco-camper "Anderson Connector 3-Way" adaptor, there was not an easy way to combine several devices on the same 12V circuit. It is A Multi Adaptor with 1 Anderson Plug on a 1m Lead and receptacle for 3 Anderson Plugs in a robust aluminium case. |
