Photos: left is detail of panels on Canvas Backing. Right is the Kit folded on the grass: This is a very Special Flexible Solar Panel made especially for eco-camper.
It consists of the monocrystalline pieces bonded into 5 Layers:
The panel is 2mm thick approx and is "Flexible" longatudinally and folds up like a zig zag blind.
Each Piece weighs only 0.65kg and is 900mm x 150mm x 2mm.
They are combined together on the Kimberley Silver G2 canvas backing to give an 125W panel with 9 pieces giving a total length of 1540mm x 950mm wide x 40mm thick (folds included)
The 125W panel weighs less than 7.5 kg and can be stored easily.
Specifications for each individual panel are:
Voc 21.6v Vo 18V Imp 722mA Tested Watts Peak 14-15W each piece
Combined with the Supercharged MPPT Controller, this Solar Kit produces a comfortable 9.25A - the level you would normally get froma standard 150W monocrystalline panel!
