240V DIN Rail Mounted Surge Protector

The surge filter provides protection against multiple impulses caused by lightning and other transient disturbances.

• complies with AS1768, and shall be suitable for AS1768 location category A.
• provides 3 stages of protection for all modes (L-N, L-E & N-E): 
• comprises a thermal sensor that detects if a MOV overheats, but does not disconnect the MOV from circuit.
• is housed in a metal enclosure on a DIN rail..
•  The single shot 8/20ms surge rating is no less than 8kA (8,000Amps) per mode for both the line side and load side metal oxide varistors.

The surge filter displays a power indicating LED and a protection status indicating LED. The status LED extinguishes under any of the following conditions:

1. Loss of power
2. Operation of either the active or neutral fuse
3. Operation of the thermal sensor
