LED Lighting 12V Plug Connected
ECO-Camper has a range 12V LED lighting to suit any camping or outdoor needs. Each light is designed for specific mounting applications, whether you need to use them under an awning, on a pole or on the side of a vehicle we have got it covered.
LED lights:
- Last from 10,000 to 40,000 hours.
- Are Durable - since LEDs do not have a filament, they are not damaged by jarring and bumping and are well suited to vibration as in camping and off road applications.
- Run Cool - these bulbs do not cause heat build-up. Significant no of house fires are caused by hot halogen globes in house ceilings
- Are mercury-free - no mercury is used in the manufacturing of LEDs as it is in fluorescents and CFL’s
- More efficient - LED light bulbs use only 2-6 watts of power: half fluorescents and 5% of Halogen.
The 12V Plug is a universal type that fits both a cigarette socket and a hella or merit socket. The Plug comes with a fuse and an LED indicator when power is on. There is no switch, but a simple pull out from the socket. We eliminate the switch as our camping experience is that the switches are prone to dust and moisture and current leakage.

- Halogen is 50W, LED is 3W which is 94% reduction in power consumption
- Brightness is similar to 35W Halogen
